BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 04 July 2019 - The 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC9) Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) commenced the formal visit to Joint Force Headquarters.
The formal visit led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Peter bin Ulat, Directing Staff 1 of Command and Staff College, Defence Academy were attended by all CSC participants consisting of 16 RBAF officers, 1 RBPF officer and 13 International Officers. The CSC delegation was welcomed by Brigadier General (U) Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Joint Force Commander.
The Joint Force Commander delivered a speech on Joint Force Headquarters' roles supported by other governmental departments. Communication and coordination between units are very important in order to achieve the mission. He also discussed about the enablers and the challenges faced by the Joint Force Headquarters. More so, the Joint Force Commander shared the measures for the future development. The itinerary also includes an interactive and fruitful discussion after the presentation. This session has widened the vision and knowledge of CSC9 participants.
Towards the end of his presentation, Major Arm Indra Andriansyah from the Indonesian Army, representative student from the CSC 9 conveyed a deep appreciation and gratitude to the Joint Force Commander for sparing his valuable time and delivering his delightful presentation. The Joint Force Commander also received a memento from CSC 9 as a token of appreciation and remembrance.
