TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 08 July 2019 – The Acting High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Ahmed Ali Sirohey, delivered a lecture on “Prophets’ Battles and Islamic War Rules, Comparing to Modern War Conventions” to the 9th Command and Staff Course, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. His insights and perspectives proved professionally beneficial for the course participants and were highly appreciated. His Excellency also briefed the course on human rights, human dignity and the comparisons with Islamic values in the Prophets’ quest to promote peace, security, and justice. He also provided historical context on battles and treaties that resulted during a time when the superpower roles of the ancient world were shared between the Roman and Persian empires. The Acting High Commissioner was hosted by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Peter bin Ulat, Directing Staff 1 of Command and Staff College, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
