THE 49TH STAFF COLLEGE COURSE, PAKISTAN NAVY WAR COLLEGE VISIT TO THE DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES

TANAH JAMBU, Friday 6th March 2020 - Delegation from the 49th Navy Staff College Course, Pakistan Navy War College visited the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) as part of their visit activity. The delegation which comprises of 3 Directing Staffs and 19 Course Participants, led by Commodore Masood Ul Hasan, the Commandant of Pakistan Navy Cadet College and was welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Pg Mohd Shamsul Reza bin Pg Dato Paduka Haji Tengah, the Chief Instructor of DA RBAF.
 
Earlier, Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commandant of DA RBAF received a courtesy call from Commodore Masood Ul Hasan as the Head of Delegation. Also in attendance were the Deputy Commandant of DA RBAF, Chief Instructor of DA RBAF and Directing Staff 1 of Staff College, DA RBAF.
 
During the call, the Commandant of DA RBAF welcomed Commodore Masood Ul Hasan who came to Negara Brunei Darussalam for the first time. The discussion also focuses on the courses conducted by the Defence Academy particularly the Command and Staff Course (CSC) that is conducted by Staff College, DA RBAF, the highest college in DA RBAF which inaugurates Universiti Brunei Darussalam as the main academic provider. The Commandant of the Defence Academy also had expressed his appreciation from visit conducted by the 49th Navy Staff College Course, Pakistan Navy War College in hopes that in the near future there will be support for any initiatives to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two institutions.
 
Meanwhile, the other delegation members were then received at the Auditorium, DA RBAF where they were given a presentation by Major Pg Khatamalzariah binti Pg Kamaluddin, Academic Advisor, DA RBAF. They were briefed about the education, training and courses conducted at DA RBAF. She also discussed about the present vision and mission of DA RBAF as well as sharing the roles and its capabilities.
 
After the briefing, the delegation was ushered to the Ceremonial Hall, DA RBAF for some light refreshments and finally the visit was concluded with a group photo session.
