TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 09 April 2021 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) celebrated its 10th Anniversary on 25 November 2020. In conjunction with this a dinner night was held at the Ceremonial Hall, DA RBAF. The dinner night also included the launching of the DA RBAF 10 Years Anniversary book – 'In Pursuit of Excellence'.
Present were Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of Airforce and Brigedier Jeneral Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of Land Force as the Special Guests. Invited guests include former Key Appointment holders in DA RBAF who have served with the DA RBAF since its inception and officers and staff of DA RBAF.
Upon the arrival of the Special Guests, a reception with welcoming drinks allowed the guests to mingle with former colleagues and friends before being preceded to the dining hall. The dinner started with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah by 1113 Cpt Md Farid bin Md Raffi, Religious Officer from the RBAF Religious Department. This was followed by a welcoming remarks from the Acting Commandant of DA RBAF, Lt Col (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. The night ensued with the anniversary cake cutting and then the launch of the DA RBAF 10 Years Anniversary book – 'In Pursuit of Excellence' by Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of Airforce as one of the Special Guests.
Following the dinner, the special guests were invited to sign the parchments before having a group photograph taken.
