TANAH JAMBU, 13 APRIL 2021, TUESDAY – The Defence Academy of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) commenced a Tadarus Al-Qur'an at Surau Asy-Syuhada', Kg. Tanah Jambu, to mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadhan 1442H.
Present at the function was the Acting Commandant, Lt Col (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Defence Academy Senior Officers, Officers, 11th Command and Staff College and participants, Intake 20 Officer Cadets and other military personnel.
The function began with the mass Fardhu 'Isya prayer followed by the mass Sunat Tarawih and Witr prayers. A Tadzkirah was delivered first by Awang Abdul Nasir Saufi bin Hassan, Defence Academy Religious Teacher. Next, the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Acting Commandant and the commencement of the tadarus Al-Qur'an. This was followed by the recitation of verses of the Al-Quran by the attending congregation.
