CSC11 VISITED WAWASAN BRUNEI SECRETARIAT OFFICE

Bandar Seri Begawan, Monday, 7 June 2021 - The 11th Command and Staff Course (CSC11) today visited the Wawasan Brunei Secretariat Office, Prime Minister's Office (PMO) at Jalan Perdana Menteri. The delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa, Senior Directing Staff of the Command and Staff College, Defence Academy.

The delegation were received by officers from the Wawasan Brunei Secretariat Office, PMO followed by a talk on Wawasan 2035 delivered by Muhd Aziman bin Hj Awang Nasir, Acting Deputy Director in the Wawasan Brunei Secretariat Office. The talk covered several key topics on Wawasan 2035 ranging from the current National Key Performance Indicators (KPI), the alignment process, long-term development framework, the current progress of the nation towards achieving Wawasan 2035, the Wawasan Brunei communications plan and lastly the success and challenges faced by the Secretariat thus far. The talk was followed by an engaging question and answer session and ended with group discussions.

Subsequently, the visit concluded with a group photo-taking session and a souvenir presentation by Major (U) Arif Shamirul bin Salleh on behalf of the CSC11 cohort to the Acting Deputy Director, Wawasan Brunei Secretariat Office.

The visit was beneficial for the course participants as it gave them the opportunity to better understand the roles and functions of the Wawasan Brunei Secretariat Office and gave the course participants a forum to directly pose their questions regarding Wawasan 2035.
