BRUNEI MUARA, Wednesday, 20 April 2022 – Islam places a great demands on personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness, particularly in our places of worship such as mosques and religious halls, as the mosque is considered as a designated place to perform prayers as well as a centre of activity for the Muslim community.
In conjunction with the Ihya Ramadhan Programme 1443H/2022M, a total of 20 personnel from Defence Academy RBAF took part in a cleaning campaign which was held at Masjid Perpindahan Kampong Serasa. The activity started with a cleaning campaign that included the interior and exterior of the masjid and concluded with Sembahyang Zuhur Berjemaah and a gift presentation to the local mosque committee.
The campaign was carried out to spruce, clean and improve the appearance and surroundings, as well as the interior of the mosque, in order to contribute to the wider Brunei community while also assisting and encouraging cleanliness in accordance with the current COVID-19 pandemic protocol.

MASJID DI MASJID PERPINDAHAN KAMPONG SERASA
BRUNEI MUARA, Rabu, 20 April 2022 – Kebersihan
diri dan persekitaran adalah amat dituntut oleh Islam lebih-lebih lagi
tempat-tempat ibadat seperti masjid dan dewan agama, memandangkan masjid merupakan
tempat khusus bagi menunaikan solat dan pusat kegiatan bagi masyarakat Muslim.
Sempena program Ihya Ramadhan 1443H/2022M, seramai 20 anggota dari Akademi Pertahanan
ABDB telah terlibat dalam kempen kebersihan di Masjid Perpindahan Kampong
Serasa. Aktiviti kempen telah dimulakan dengan membersihkan di kawasan luar dan
dalam masjid, dan diakhiri dengan sembahyang Fardhu Zuhur berjemaah serta
penyampaian cenderahati kepada Takmir Masjid tersebut.
Kempen ini bertujuan untuk merapikan, membersihkan dan memperbaiki penampilan
dan persekitaran mahupun di dalam ruang masjid sebagai sumbangan kepada
masyarakat Negara Brunei Darussalam secara umum serta membantu dan
mempromosikan kebersihan sesuai dengan protokol pandemik COVID-19.
