COURTESY CALL FROM THE AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ADVISER IN THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE ACCREDITED TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 18 February 2021 - Lieutenant Colonel Hajah Suriyati binti Haji Junaidi, Acting Commandant of Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) received a courtesy call from Commodore Richard Caton, the Australian Defence Adviser in the Republic of Singapore accredited to Brunei Darussalam today. Also, in attendance were Academic Advisor and Deputy Chief of Instructor Defence Academy RBAF.

During the call, both sides expressed pleasure and  appreciation for the efforts that Commodore Richard Caton on the close and strong defence relationship shared between Brunei Darussalam and Australia despite the current pandemic situation. Acting Commandant of DA RBAF extended her utmost appreciation for the continuous support from Australia and the excellent service provided by Commodore Richard Caton during his tenure as DA ADF accredited to Brunei Darussalam.

Commodore Richard Caton has been appointed as the Australian Defence Adviser in the Republic of Singapore and accredited to Brunei Darussalam since December 2018.
