TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 24 November 2022 - Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) today held a Doa Kesyukuran event at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Kampong Tanah Jambu to commemorate its 12th Anniversary.
Present during the event was Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present were senior officers, officers, staff and course participants of DA RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by 54462 Midshipmen Aiman Hafizunnizam bin Mohd Ali Dzulfikri followed by a mass fardhu maghreb prayer and solat sunat hajat. The event was proceeded with recitation of Surah Yasin and Tahlil in remembrance of former Chief Instructor of DA RBAF and the fallen heroes of the Bell 212 helicopter incident.
The event concluded with recitation of Doa for DA RBAF and also Doa Kesyukuran in showing gratitude and for the blessing that has been bestowed upon DA RBAF.
