THE OBOE ENDEAVOUR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PROGRAMME 2024

AUSTRALIA, Monday, 02 December 2024 - The OBOE Endeavour Academic Excellence Programme that was held from 01 December to 05 December 2024 began with a visit to HMAS Waterhen in Sydney, the Royal Australian Navy’s primary mine warfare base. The participants were welcomed by the Commanding Officer of HMAS Waterhen and was then given a brief about the organisation, and plans to enhance mine countermeasures (MCM) with advanced autonomous systems, improving safety and effectiveness. The tour highlighted cutting-edge diving equipment and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), showcasing HMAS Waterhen’s key role in housing state-of-the-art MCM technology.


OBOE ACADEMIC ENDEAVOUR EXCELLENCE AWARD RECIPIENT 24/2024 TOOK OFF TO AUSTRALIA

BRUNEI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Saturday, 30 November 2024 – The Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces proudly announces the departure of OBOE Academic Excellence Award 2024 recipients to participate in the esteemed programme to Australia especially to its defence forces. The Programme will be held from 01 December 2024 until 05 December 2024 . A send-off ceremony, attended by senior officers, officers, and family members, included a Doa Selamat recited by one of the delegate officers to bless their journey.


INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE 24/2024 – APPRECIATION DINNER NIGHT

GADONG, Friday, 29 November 2023 - The course participants of the Intermediate Staff Course 24/2024, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held an Appreciation Dinner at The Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. 


CLOSING CEREMONY OF INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE 24/2024

TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 28 November 2024 – A total of 38 officers has successfully completed the Intermediate Staff Course (ISC 24/2024) at the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) today. The course was attended by 31 RBAF officers, one officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and six international military officers from People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Singapore, Kingdom of Thailand and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.


DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED 14th ANNIVERSARY

TANAH JAMBU – Monday, 25 November 2024 – The Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) celebrated its 14th Anniversary with Doa Kesyukuran at Surau Asy-Syuhada followed by a Speech Delivery Ceremony at the Lecture Hall, Officer Cadet School. Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji  Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF.
