TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 17 April 2020 – The Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation of the Writing Skills Course Series 01/2020 conducted by the Leadership and Management Centre, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (LMC, DA RBAF) was held today. A total of twenty officers had successfully completed the two week long course which was aimed to enhance their skills in both essay writing and service writing. The course was successfully conducted via online video conferencing in order to comply with current social distancing and Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) requirements.
The closing ceremony also included certificate presentations of awards in three specific categories. Best Academic Essay Award was presented to 1139 Lt Pg Ahmad Mukmin bin Pg Hj Ali Shahrun, Best RBAF Service Writing Award was presented to 1133 Lt (U) Pg Mohd Izzat bin Pg Sufri and the Best Overall Student Award for Writing Skills Course Series 01/2020 was presented to 1133 Lt (U) Pg Mohd Izzat bin Pg Sufri. The ceremony concluded with a recitation of closing prayer followed by a group photo session.
