MUARA, Tuesday, 22 March 2022 – The 12th series of the Command and Staff Course (CSC) Defence Academy RBAF paid a study visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). Present to officiate the study visit was the Commander of the RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, at the Naval Training Centre, RBN Base.
The CSC officers were given a brief presentation by Commander Norharirayati binti Yakub, Acting Chief of Staff RBN with the topic of “Shaping the Royal Brunei Navy’s Role of National Defence to Meet Contemporary Threats”. The highlight of the study visit was the discussion session where the CSC officers were invited to present questions directly to the Commander of the RBN, giving them the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the RBN clear way forward for the RBN. Also, present is the Commandant Naval Training.
Following the presentation was a short tour to Jetty Bravo for a ship visit. The CSC officers boarded the KDB DARULEHSAN, an 80-meter patrol vessel. They were given a familiarisation tour which covered areas such as the Bridge, Sick Bay and Rigid Hull Inflatable Craft (RHIC).
