TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 13 February 2025 – Nisfu Sya’ban holds an immense spiritual value and a time to seek forgiveness, reflect and draw ourselves closer to Allah SWT. In this auspicious night all surau MINDEF & RBAF camp celebrated Nisfu Sya’ban 1446 hijrah including Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Tanah Jambu Camp.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof along with the senior officers, DA RBAF personnel and course participants from Command and Staff College and Officer Cadet School.
The event began with the recital of verses from the holy Quran, Fardhu Maghrib & Sunat Hajat Prayers, and three recitations of Surah Yasin. The event continued with a special doa to mark Nisfu Sya’ban and concluded with Fardhu Isya’ prayers.
The event aims to encourage officers and personnel to reflect seek the forgiveness and blessings of Allah Subahanahu Wa Ta’ala during Nisfu Sya’ban, which is a night of blessings and prosperity to all Muslims.
