KAMPONG TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday 14 November 2017 – Colonel Lee Yong Heng, the outgoing resident Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, made a farewell call this afternoon to the Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF, Colonel Saiful-Akhmar bin Hj Mohd Shariff. Also attending the call were the member of the Defence Academy Executive committee.
The Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF conveyed his utmost appreciation on his dedication, continued support and commitment during his tenure as the Defence Adviser. Also, in contributing profoundly to the development of the excellent relationship and defence cooperation between the RBAF and Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) especially the contributing for Command and Staff Course, Leadership and Management Centre and also bilateral cooperation between Officers Cadet School Defence Academy RBAF and Officers Cadet School SAFTI.
The Commandant also took the opportunity in congratulating Colonel Yeo Joon Hua Desmond, the incoming Singapore Defence Advisor and expressed his confidence that relations between the two armed forces will continue to progress throughout his term as the Defence Adviser. Over the years, bilateral defence relations between the two countries continues to be strong and excellent.
