TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 20 March 2018 – Rear Admiral Donald D. Gabrielson, the US Navy’s Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific/Commander, Task Force 73/Commander, Navy Region Singapore made an introductory call to the The Commandant of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Colonel Saiful-Akhmar bin Hj Mohd Shariff as part of his programme to Brunei Darussalam. Also present were Defence Academy’s Executive Committee.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral defence and military cooperation and exchanges views on regional developments of mutual interest. Rear Admiral Donald D. Gabrielson’s also took the opportunity to deliver a talk on “Lesson in Command and Leadership” at the 8th Command and Staff Course held in the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
