TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 22 January 2021 – The Certificate of Commissioning Course Awarding Ceremony for Newly Commissioned Officers of Intake 19 was held at the Defence Academy Auditorium, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF).
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Hajah Suriyati binti Haji Junaidi, Acting Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present at the ceremony were the Acting Chief Instructor DA RBAF, Commanding Officer OCS DA RBAF, Academic Advisor DA RBAF, Deputy Commanding Officer OCS DA RBAF, Intake Commander, Second in Command Intake Commander, Officers, Senior Ranks, Instructors and Newly Commissioned Officers of Intake 19. The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recital of Surah Al-Baqarah verses 30-34 by 1388 Lt Abdul Qawi Ariq bin Haji Mohamed Hussain.
The event carried on with the welcoming remarks from the Intake Commander, in which he expressed the journey of the intake from the beginning of the commissioning course up until the Sovereign Parade of Intake 19. The Certificate of Commissioning Course was later presented by the Acting Commandant of DA RBAF. A total of 73 Newly Commissioned Officers received their Certificate of Commissioning Course. The ceremony concluded with a recital of Doa Selamat.
