TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 21 July 2023 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces held a special religious talk at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Kg Tanah jambu in conjunction with Ilal Hijrah 1445 celebration. The event was conducted concurrently at all Ministry of Defence and RBAF Suraus.
In attendance was Lieutenant Colonel (Udara) Pengiran Haji Mohd Yusri bin Pengiran Sharifuddin, Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School. Also present were officers, personnel of DA RBAF and officer cadets of intake 22.
The event started with recital of Al-Quran Surah Yunus verse 107 to 109 and Surah Hud verse 1 to 5 followed by recital of Surah Yasin and Tahlil in remembrance of the victims of helicopter crash that happened on 20 July 2012. The event then continued with a religious talk delivered by Ustaz Omardi bin Haji Abu Bakar titled “Ugama Dipelihara, Negara Sejahtera”. The event was then concluded with Solat Dhuha and recital of doa.
