Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin began his military career in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in Nov 2002. He was commissioned as an Officer in 2005, after completing his Officer Cadet training at Officer Cadet School SAFTI MI, Singapore. Throughout his service, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali has held various command and staff appointments. His appointments includes Platoon Commander 'B' Company, Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF), Troop Commander Combat Engineer Squadron (CES) and Chemical Biological Radiological Defence (CBRD) Troop, Support Battalion RBLF (Sp Bn RBLF), Second-in-Command (2IC) of CES Sp Bn RBLF and Officer Commanding CES Sp Bn RBLF. As a Combat Engineer Officer and specialist in CBRE, he was one of the member in the set-up of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive (CBRE) Defence Unit and later on in his tour became the 3rd Officer Commanding of the unit. Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali assumed the appointment of the Head of Leadership and Management Centre (LMC) on 1st July 2020 and prior to that he was the Deputy Chief Instructor of Defence Academy RBAF and Staff Officer Grade 2 Training (G7) RBLF HQ.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali has attended various military courses locally and overseas throughout his service. Among the courses he attended were Regimental Officer Basic Course - Engineers (Australia), Pegawai Nuklear Biologi Kimia (Malaysia), Chemical Biological Radiological Defence Commander's Course (Singapore), Explosive Ordnance Basic and Advance Commander's Course (Singapore), 1st Company Commander's Course (Training Institute RBAF), Grade 2 Staff and Tactics Course (Malaysia) and the 8th Command and Staff College (Defence Academy RBAF) where he was awarded the OBOE Endeavor Academic Excellence Award from the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali highest academic qualification is Bachelor in Education (Hons) in General Science Education from Universiti Brunei Darussalam. He is married to Hajah Suryanti Jurinah bte Haji Mohd Jumin and blessed with three daughters, Nur Hameezah Mansurah, Nur Najeehah Munawwarah and Nur Hazeeqah Mumtazah. He is an avid golfer and enjoys running and hiking in his spare time
