TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 24 August 2025– Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held the opening of Dikir Maulud for 1447 hijrah at Surau Asy-Syuhada, DA RBAF.
Present at the ceremony was the Acting Commandant of DA RBAF, Liuetenant Colonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali. Also in attendance were DA RBAF senior officers, officers, personnel from DA RBAF and course participants from Command and Staff Course 15/2025, Intermediate Staff Course 25/2025 and Officer Cadets from Intake 24.
The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib Prayer followed by the Dikir Maulud followed by the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Sirah Nabawiyah. The event continued with Dikir As-salammualaika, Dikir Bisyahrin, Dikir Alhamdulillah followed by Isha’ prayer, Selawat Badriyah, Dikir Dibaie and concluded with Dikir Marhaban. The Dikir Maulud will be held continuously for 12 nights at mosque and surau throughout the country to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
