TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 12th March 2021 – In conjunction with the Isra’ Mi’raj 1442H celebration, Defence Academy RBAF held a religious event at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, DA RBAF this morning. This year’s theme is ‘Sembahyang Teras Kecemerlangan Umat’ (Prayer is the Core towards the Excellence ofc Ummah).
Present at the ceremony was the Acting Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF, Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Defence Academy Senior Officers, Officers, 11th Command and Staff College and Service Writing Skills Course participants, and other military personnel.
The Isra’ and Mi’raj ceremony was commenced with a recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah, and Surah Al-Ma’idah (verses 51-57) led by Awang Abdul Nasir Saufi bin Hassan, Defence Academy Religious Teacher. The event continued with a special talk delivered by a guest speaker, Ustadz Dr. Harapandi bin Dahri from Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University (KUPU SB). The event was then concluded with Solat Dhuha, Do’a and Selawat.
