TANAH JAMBU,
Wednesday, 04 September 2024 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held the opening of Dikir Maulud for 1446 hijrah at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Tanah Jambu Camp.
Present at the ceremony was the Commandant of DA RBAF, Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Haji Yusof. Also in attendance were DA RBAF senior officers, officers, personnel from DA RBAF and course participants from Intermediate Staff Course 24/2024 and Officer Cadets from Intake 23.
The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib Prayer followed by the Dikir Maulud followed by the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Sirah Nabawiyah. The event continued with Dikir As-salammualaika, Dikir Bisyahrin, Dikir Alhamdulillah followed by Isha’ prayer, Selawat Badriyah, Dikir Dibaie and concluded with Dikir Marhaban.
The Dikir Maulud will be held continuously for 12 nights at mosque and surau throughout the country to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammah (PBUH).
