KAMPONG KIULAP, Saturday, 05 August 2023 – Farewell and appreciation for retired and outgoing Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO’s) from Defence Academy RBAF organised by the Warrant Officers Mess Committee of DA RBAF was held at Higher Hotel, Kampong Kiulap.
Present as the guest of honour was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Hj Yusof, Commandant of Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present was Academy Sergeant Major and all SNCO’s of DA RBAF.
The event commenced with the recital of surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Sergeant Haji Md Yusri bin Haji Awang Yusof followed by a speech from the Commandant of Defence Academy. In the speech Commandant expressed his gratitude and appreciation towards the sacrifices and throughout their tenure in Defence Academy and wished all retiree and outgoing SNCOs the best in their future endeavors. The event concluded with presentation of memento and a group photo sessions.
