TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday 05 March 2019 – Mr Eamon O’Shaughnessy, Head of International Branch, New Zealand Ministry of Defence today delivered a talk on “New Zealand Defence System” to the 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC 9) at the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

In his talk, Mr Eamon O’Shaughnessy shared on the role of Secretary of Defence, Strategic Defence Policy Statement 2018, Defence Capability Plan 2019, the role of International Branch and Deployments.
 
He also highlighted the importance of New Zealand approach and the contribution from the Ministry of Defence and the New Zealand Defence Force.

Towards the end of his presentation, Major (U) Zulkhairin bin Haji Ibrahim, the representative student from the CSC 9 conveys a deep appreciation and gratitude to Mr Eamon O’Shaughnessy for sparing his valuable time and for delivering his delightful presentation. Mr Eamon O’Shaughnessy received a memento presented by the Chief Instructor on behalf of the Commandant of Defence Academy.
 
Earlier today, Mr Eamon O’Shaughnessy also paid a courtesy call on the Commandant of the Defence Academy, Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, at the Defence Academy Headquarters before proceeding with his talk at the Command and Staff College.
