DEFENCE ACADEMY HELD KULIAH SUBUH FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
TANAH JAMBU, Friday 4 October 2019 – The Defence Academy yet again held its monthly special lecture or Kuliah Subuh for the month of October earlier today. The event took place at Surau Asy-Syuhadah, Defence Academy and the lecture was delivered by Ustaz Pg Fakhrul Syakirin bin Pg Hj Zainuddin, RBAirF’s Religious Officer.
11th BRUNEI-SINGAPORE DEFENCE SCHOLARS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME 2019 VISIT TO DA RBAF
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday 1st October 2019 – Delegation from the 11th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2019 visited the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) as part of their interaction programme in Brunei Darussalam. The delegation which comprises of 6 Bruneian Defence Scholars, 2 Bruneian Sultan Scholars and 8 Singaporean Defence Scholars was welcomed by Major Pengiran Siti Khatamalzariah Binti Pengiran Kamaluddin, the Acting Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School (OCS) DA RBAF.
DEPUTY COMMANDANT DA RBAF RECEIVES COURTESY CALL FROM ICRC
TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 11th September 2019 – Lieutenant Colonel Hajah Suriyati binti Haji Junaidi, Deputy Commandant of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) received a courtesy call from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Office based in Kuala Lumpur.
GOH KENG SWEE CSC VISITS DA RBAF
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 10 September 2019 – The delegation from the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College, Republic of Singapore, comprised of 79 personnel led by the Commandant, Colonel Lee Wee Chek Simon visited the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) as part of their overseas study visit to Brunei Darussalam. Upon arrival at the DA RBAF Headquarters, Colonel Lee Wee Chek Simon was welcomed by the Commandant of the DA RBAF, Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, and other DA RBAF Senior Officers. The visit commenced with a Courtesy Call where both sides acknowledged the cordial relations between the RBAF and the Singapore Armed Forces and discussed potential areas to explore to enhance the military-to-military bilateral cooperation particularly through trainings.
NEW HIJRAH 1441H CELEBRATION
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Friday, 6th September 2019 - The Celebration for the New Hijrah 1441H was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada this morning at the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) at Kampong Tanah Jambu. Present as the Guest of Honour was 540 Lieutenant Colonel (U) Muhammad Amiruddin bin Awang Haji Tuah the Head of Leadership and Management Centre. Others in attendance were the personnel of DA RBAF’s senior officers, officers, Command Staff Course’s officers, personnel and also the officer cadets from the Intake 18 of the Officer Cadet School.
UN OCHA AND RHCC DELIVER LECTURES TO CSC 9
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 05 September 2019 – Students and members of the Command and Staff College had the distinct opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge from two guest lecturers on civil and military coordination for humanitarian and disaster relief operations (HADR). Mr. Nidhirat Srisirirojanakorn from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) in Bangkok, Thailand and Lieutenant Colonel Ho Wan Huo of the Singaporean Army from the Changi Regional Humanitarian Coordination Centre (RHCC) in Singapore delivered a three-day lecture to the 9th Cohort of the Command and Staff College.
