TANAH JAMBU, Monday 21 October 2019 – A promotion ceremony for the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) Personnel was held at the Headquarters, DA RBAF, Kampong Tanah Jambu. Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commandant DA RBAF. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers, Senior Ranks and other ranks of DA RBAF.
A total of 7 personnel from DA RBAF were promoted. One personnel to Acting Warrant Officer 1, Three personnel were promoted to Substantive Warrant Officer 2, One personnel to Acting Warrant Officer 2, one personnel to Substantive Staff Sergeant and one personnel to Acting Staff Sergeant.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah led by Corporal Sahrul Al-Hasri bin Hamzah followed by the promotion ceremony. The ceremony concluded with the recital of Doa and a photo session. The promotion ceremony was held to celebrate and show appreciation to the personnel to continue their service with dedication.
