TANAH JAMBU, Thursday 07 March 2019 – A promotion ceremony for the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) Personnel was held at the Ceremonial Hall, DA RBAF, Kampong Tanah Jambu. Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commandant DA RBAF. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers, Senior Ranks and other ranks of DA RBAF.
A total of four Senior Ranks from DA RBAF were promoted. One Acting Warrant Officer 1 was promoted to Substantive Warrant Officer 1, one Substantive Warrant Officer 2 was promoted to Acting Warrant Officer 1 and two senior ranks were promoted from Substantive Sergeant to Acting Staff Sergeant.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah led by Sergeant Haji Md Yusri bin Haji Yusof followed by the promotion ceremony. The ceremony concluded with the recital of Doa and a photo session.
The promotion ceremony was held to celebrate DA RBAF personnel who have been promoted and also to show appreciation and to encourage the personnel to continue their service with sincerity, excellence and dedication.
