25-26 July 2023 – The RBAF Command and Staff Course (CSC) Delegation visited their Australian Command and Staff Course (ACSC) counterparts at Australian War College, located at Australian Defence College, Weston Campus for a two-day interaction programmes. The delegation attended lectures on Mission Command, Cyberwarfare, and Artificial Intelligence with their ACSC counterparts. Following the lectures, the delegation interacted with the ACSC course members for fruitful small-group discussions on cyberwarfare and artificial intelligence, during which they examined case studies, deliberated on the nature and future of cyber conflicts, and debated the need and form of regulation on artificial intelligence. The visit ended with sports activity organised by ACSC and an exchange of mementoes between both course leaders.
The interaction between both course participants had presented invaluable opportunities to engage in syndicate discussion activities and exchange knowledge with their allocated syndicates. The collaborative nature of this interaction had allowed the CSC participants to gain firsthand experience of the ACSC syndicate discussions. Through active engagement and knowledge sharing, both participants have been able to broaden their understanding of various subjects and enhance their professional development. The exchange of ideas and sharing information had proven to be mutually beneficial. This unique platform has facilitated the sharing of diverse perspectives and insights, fostering a rich learning environment for all involved. No doubt that this rare opportunity and active participation have not only enriched their own learning experience but also have added value to the overall knowledge exchange.
