TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 08 March 2026 – In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan 1447H, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) organised Donation Presentation Ceremonies and Iftar for children with special needs of RBAF personnel and their families at selected venues. The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) hosted one of the ceremonies at its Ceremonial Hall, where a total of 49 children with special needs from families of RBAF personnel received donations.
Present as the Guest of Honour was the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Brigadier General (Udara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, and spouse, Datin Noraidah binti Haji Ibrahim.
The ceremony aimed to share the blessings of the holy month of Ramadhan while extending support and assistance to children with special needs within the RBAF community. The initiative also reflects the continued commitment of the RBAF in promoting care, inclusivity and welfare for its personnel and their families.
Also in attendance were senior officers and personnel of DA RBAF, as well as the children and their
families, who later joined the Iftar gathering.
