TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 21 March 2026 – Muslims across the nation ushered in Hari Raya Aidilfitri with mass prayers held at mosques and suraus nationwide, including those at the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).At DA RBAF, the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Prayer was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada, Tanah Jambu.
Present as the Guest of Honour was the Commandant of DA RBAF, Colonel (Udara) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also in attendance were members of the DA RBAF Executive Committee, Senior Officers, Officers, personnel, participants of Command and Staff Course 16/2026, Officer Cadets of Intake 25, as well as their family members.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Hari Raya Takbir, followed by the Aidilfitri prayer and sermon delivered by Corporal Abdul Bakar bin Haji Sijun from the Religious Directorate (JAMAAT). The event concluded with a group photo session.
The Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer marks the beginning of Syawal, a significant occasion celebrated by Muslims through prayers, gatherings, and festive meals. It also serves as a time for reflection and seeking forgiveness among family and friends.
