TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 27 September 2024 – The Religious Directorate of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT) held a briefing on Awareness of Ahli Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah (ASWJ)for military and civilian personnel of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) at the Auditorium Hall, Defence Academy (DA) RBAF.
The briefing was attended by Yang Mulia Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF. Also, in attendance were senior officers and officers of the RBAF.
A total of 60 military personnel and civilian staffs attended the briefing, which was delivered by Yang Mulia 1070 Captain Noria Fatriah binti Haji Abdul Mutalif, Staff Officer Grade 3 Religious Doctrine and Yang Mulia Ustaz Mohammad Fahmi bin Haji Matnoor, Religious Officer from Religious Directorate of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT).
The briefing aimed to enhance understanding and raise awareness of the basic Aqidah Ahli Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah, including cult teachings and elements that can damage beliefs. It also aimed to help participants protect themselves from deviations in aqidah. Additionally, the briefing served to strengthen their faith in Islam in a true and confident manner.
