Tarindak D’Polo Jerudong, Thursday, 10 October 2019 – 30 officers and their families celebrated their success in completing the 40-week long Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Command and Staff Course 9 (CSC 9) in a Graduation Dinner held at Tarindak D’Polo, Jerudong. 
 
The students and staff of CSC9 were joined by the Guest of Honour, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the RBAF and Datin. The event was also attended by the Commissioner of Police of Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), Vice Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Service Commanders, Joint Force Commander, Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF and Training Institute RBAF, Directors and Lecturers from UBD, and Senior officers of the RBAF Defence Academy.
 
Upon arrival, the Commander was welcomed by the course participants of CSC 9 and the respective guests were invited for a group photo session. The dinner then commenced with instrumental music followed by a short video clip showcasing the most memorable moments of the 40-week course.
 
The highlight of the event was the presentation of Commandant’s Award to Major Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohammad Isa from the Defence Academy RBAF. This award is presented to the local student who has demonstrated a superior level of commitment and has delivered a strong and consistent performance across academic and military elements of the course.
 
To thank the Guest of Honour and his wife, the Chairman of the event presented a memento gift to them on behalf of the course. Thereafter, the International Students of CSC 9 also showed their appreciation to the Defence Academy by presenting mementos from their respective countries. The event was concluded with the signing of parchment by the Commander of RBAF.
