Berakas Garrison, Wednesday, 03 July 2019 – The 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC 9/2019) continued the field study programme to Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF). The visiting delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Peter bin Ulat, Directing Staff 1 of Staff College, Defence Academy.
The CSC 9/2019 delegation were received at Berakas Officers’ Mess and a video presentation on the overview of the RBLF started the event. Yang Mulia Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, the Commander of RBLF later delivered a talk on “Future of the Land Force – Prospects and Challenges”. He also discussed about the present mission, role and capabilities of RBLF. More so, the Commander shared his views on outlook and challenges for future development of the RBLF. The itinerary also includes an interactive and fruitful discussion after the presentation. The visit was professionally beneficial for the course participants which have provided a good insight about RBLF.
Towards the end of his presentation, Major (U) Zulkhairin bin Haji Ibrahim, representative student from the CSC 9/2019 conveys a deep appreciation and gratitude to Yang Mulia Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of RBLF for sparing his valuable time and delivered his delightful presentation. The Commander of RBLF also received a memento from CSC 9/2019 as a token of appreciation and remembrance.
