RBAF Water Sports Centre, Friday, 15 March 2019 – 30 officers from the 9th Command and Staff Course (CSC 9), Defence Academy RBAF, were introduced to the sport of kayaking at the RBAF Water Sports Centre. The weekly sports activity was the fifth one organised by CSC 9 course participants for CSC 1st term and aimed at instilling and promoting a healthy lifestyle; moreover, it also hopes to foster closer ties and friendship amongst CSC 9 students of various nationalities.
Besides kayaking, the course participants also competed in a Tug of War between their syndicates. Directing Staff also participated in the afternoon sports activity motivating the course participants to win the games. It is hoped that these kinds of activities will not only shape a positive sporting culture for our youth, but also promote cohesion and cooperation amongst the course participants.
