TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 07 July 2023 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces concluded the seven-a-side football tournament held at DA RBAF Football Field.
The tournament was a five-weeks long tournament comprising of seven teams on a double knockout format. The tournament ended with a final match between Teras Keimanan Football Team and Gagah Perkasa Football Team where Gagah Perkasa won with a finishing score of 1-0 which placed Gagah Perkasa as the champion while Teras Keimanan as the runner up and Tawakkal Football Team came at third place.
Present as the guest of honor whom witnessed the match and also presented the winning prizes was Colonel Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Hj Yusof, The Commandant of DA RBAF. Also in attendance was Deputy Commandant and Senior Officers of DA RBAF.
The tournament is expected to continue to be an annual tradition, further instilling values of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship within the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
