TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 28 August 2025 – The Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) welcomed a working visit from the Veterans Association of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (VARBAF), led by its President, Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Ramli bin Abdul Hadis.
The visit began with an introductory call with Lieutenant Colonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali, Acting Commandant of DA RBAF, before continuing with a briefing on the Academy’s course curriculum and structures designed for future RBAF officers. This was followed by an exchange of momentos between DA RBAF and VARBAF.
The delegation was then taken on a tour of the Academy to view its infrastructure and facilities. The visit ended with a luncheon and a group photo session at the Ceremonial Hall.
The purpose of the visit was to give VARBAF members insights into the progress of current military officers’ education and training development. It also served as a channel for the exchange of knowledge and experience between VARBAF and RBAF personnel still in service.
