TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 8 November 2019 – Dikir Maulud ceremony held at Surau Asy-Syuhadah for 12 consecutive nights has come to an end. Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commandant of the Defence Academy, was present as the Guest of Honour. Amongst the attendees were senior officers and officers, Defense Academy personnel and Officer Cadets of Intake 18.The event commenced with recital of surah Al-Anbiya from 102-112, recited by 53233 Midshipman Awangku Muhd Az-Zubair bin Pengiran Haji Masri and mass Maghrib prayer. Then, continued with Hajat prayer to ease those who are going through Promotion Exam (Promex), Dikir Assalamualaika, Dikir Syarafil Anam and mass Isyak prayer. The occasion ended with Dikir Marhaban.
Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam is a good example of Uswah Hasanah or a good example that all RBAF officers and personnel should follow in their work and daily life. The purpose of the ceremony was to further deepen the love for the Prophet Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam and follow through the teachings he brought in spreading Islam.
