TANAH JAMBU, Friday 1 November 2019 – Defence Academy held Kuliah Subuh earlier today. This is a monthly event whereby it is held early of the month. The event took place at Surau Asy-Syuhadah, Defence Academy. Ustaz Haji Muskrisman bin Haji Mustafa from Pusat Dakwah Islamiah was invited as the guest of speaker.
Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commandant of the Defence Academy, was present as the Guest of Honour. Amongst the attendees were Lieutenant Colonel Hajah Suriyati binti Haji Junaidi, the Deputy Commandant, senior officers and officers, Defense Academy personnel and Officer Cadets of Intake 18.
The ceremony began with mass Subuh prayer and followed by a religious talk titled “Rahmatan Lil Alamin, Ihya Sunnah Rasulullah”. The lecturer further explained how we should follow our beloved Prophet; his mercy and firmness was an indispensable element in preserving and upholding Islam. The monologue was in line with the upcoming Maulud Nabi ceremony. Souvenir of appreciation was presented to the invited guest of speaker by the Guest of Honour before the event continued with recital of Surah Al-Kahfi verse 54 to 110, along with translation of the Surah, Dhuha prayer and concludes with Dikir Marhaban.
