Tanah Jambu, Monday, 18 October 2021 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a closing ceremony to mark the end of the 12 consecutive nights of Dikir Maulud in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration 1443 Hijrah. The event, organised by the RBAF Religious Department (JAMA’AT) was held concurrently at all RBAF Suraus via Video Tele Conference (VTC) in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.
Present during the ceremony via VTC was Acting Commandant DA RBAF, Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and DA RBAF personnel.
The event commenced after the Maghrib prayer, with the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Nabawiyah followed by Dikir Syarafil Anam and Dikir Marhaban. The ceremony concluded with a Special Doa for COVID-19, followed by Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
