TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 1 March 2019 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held another of its monthly “Kuliah Subuh” lecture today. For the month of March, the kuliah subuh was delivered by Ustaz Dr. Ahmad Asri Lubis, lecturer from UNISSA. The kuliah subuh was held at Surau Ashyuhada, DA RBAF.
Present at the event as guest of honour was Colonel Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan the Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers, participants of Command and Staff Course, Probationary Officers Cadets of Intake 18 and permanent staff of the DA RBAF.
The ceremony began with the mass Subuh prayer, followed by the religious talk themed “Menjayakan Wawasan Negara” which is also the theme for the 35th National Day, in which the speaker highlighted the nation’s aspiration towards achieving the 2035 vision and how it can be achieved through Islamic approach and perspective.
The Kuliah Subuh talks were also held concurrently throughout all the suraus in the RBAF Garrisons and Camps.
