TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 26 Oktober 2022 – Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Deputy Minister of Defence made his introductory visit to the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) today.
The arrival of the Deputy Minister of Defence was received by Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, the Commandant of DA RBAF. Also in attendance were Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, the Permanent Secretary (Policy, Finance and Administration), Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Ministry of Defence Civilian Directors and DA RBAF Senior Officers.
The aim of the visit is to articulate DA RBAF’s objectives and strategies, and to provide an opportunity for further strategic guidance from the Deputy Minister of Defence towards achieving the organisational vision.
The visit started off with an opening remark by the Commandant of DA RBAF, followed by a brief presentation of the organizational structure and roles of the DA RBAF. It also includes the delivery of DA RBAF performance and issues, priorities and future planning considerations.
The visit then proceeded with a tour to several subunits within the DA RBAF followed by the signing of parchment and a group photo session to conclude the visit.
