BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 9 November 2019 – The 12th Rabiulawal is a historic date in the Year of the Hijrah calendar, the day of the birth of our Great Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. The day was celebrated with a procession of sincere praise as evidence of our love in remembrance of His sacrifice for the sake of fighting Islam and His people.

In addition to sparking the celebration, nearly 13,000 people, including senior officers, officers, RBAF personnel and officer cadets of Intake 18 attended the rally in conjunction with Maulud Nabi. Leading the Royal Brunei Armed Forces was Colonel Khairil bin Haji Ismail, the Head of Inspectorate Unit.

The 2.3 kilometer walk around part of Bandar Seri Begawan begins and ends at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in Bandar Seri Begawan. The special theme of this year’s celebration is “Meneladani Muamalat Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam”. The term Muamalat is a set of rules or guidelines for every aspect in our lives example finance, economic and business and shall be based on Islamic teachings.
