TANAH JAMBU, 05 March 2019 - The delegation from Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College led by First Admiral Mohd Fadzli Kamal bin Mohd Mohaldin as the Head of the delegation paid a one-day field study tour to Brunei Darussalam hosted by the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The visit was intended to provide the course participants an avenue of understanding on Brunei Darussalam as a regional partner. The delegation comprises a 72-members consisting course participants, staff, lectures and spouses.
During the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College’s tour to Brunei, the delegation was able to visit DA RBAF and received briefings on the structure and role of the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF, as well as Brunei Darussalam’s defence policies and an overview of the regional security environment. This was followed by visits to the RBAF Museum as well as other places of interest in Brunei Darussalam namely Islamic Dakwah Centre, Royal Regalia and Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
The course participants were enrolled in a Master’s degree course conducted by the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College in cooperation with UKM, and the one-day field study tour fulfilled their curriculum requirements. They expressed their utmost appreciation to the DA RBAF as hosting unit and coordinator for welcoming them in Brunei and assisting them throughout their study visit.
