Tanah Jambu, Friday, 17 January 2020 – The local course participants of the 10th Command and Staff Course (CSC) hosted a Meet and Greet social event to welcome the 15 International course participants and their families at the Ceremonial Hall, Defence Academy RBAF.Joining the participants at the event as guest of honour was Colonel Haji Muhd Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commandant of Defence Academy RBAF. Also present were senior members from DA Headquarters as well as the Directing Staff.
The event was primarily designed to provide the course participants, as well as families, the preliminary opportunity to be better acquainted with each other within their 10-month CSC journey.
The local course participants also utilised the Meet and Greet event as a platform to provide some closer insights into Bruneian culture for their international coursemates, in which some of the highlights included a traditional music ‘Gulingtangan’ performance as well as a demonstration on ‘Menumpah Ambuyat’ – a proud local delicacy.
