OPENING CEREMONY OF TEDARUS AL-QURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RAMADHAN AT THE DEFENCE ACADEMY RBAF
TANAH JAMBU Wednesday 8 May 2019 - The first Ramadhan of 1440 Hijriah fell on Tuesday, the 7th of May 2019 and was celebrated by Muslims across Brunei Darussalam. The Defence Academy is no exception in welcoming the Holy month. On Thursday night of the following day, we had our Terawih as well as Witir Prayers in the Surau Asy Syuhada. The Commandant of the Defence Academy, Colonel Hj Muhammad Haszaimi Bin Bol Hassan, was invited as the Guest of Honour. Other Officers, PTBs and civilians were also present. The aim of having the event was to liven up and celebrate the month full with blessings.
THE BRIDGE TO PARADISE
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 03 May 2019 –This morning, the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces had an invited guest speaker to hold a religious talk at the Asy Syuhada Surau. As the holy month of Ramadan is drawing nearer, the talk, which carried the title ‘Jambatan Menuju ke Syurga’ or The Bridge to Paradise, delivered by Ustaz Abdussalam bin Hj Johari highlighted that fasting in the holy month of Ramadan brings nothing but limitless benefits for the Muslims.
