COMMISSIONING AND PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR OFFICER CADET WITH PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED OFFICERS (PQO) STATUS
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 09 August 2023 – By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulahibni Al-Marhum Sultan Omar ’Ali SaifuddienSa’adulKhairiWaddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, 22281 Officer Cadet Nurliessa binti Mohammad Daliz, a Professionally Qualified Officer (PQO) from Intake 22 was commissioned and promoted to the rank of Substantive Captain.
WORKING VISIT FROM THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 08 August 2023 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) receive a working visit from Ministry of Health today. The visit was the first one made by MoH to DA RBAF since its establishment and is testament to the importance of the Whole of Government Approach.

This further divided into 3 important subthemes namely ‘Infusing Peace Education Into The Curriculum Of Professional Military Education’, ‘Peace Education In Professional Military Education As A Pathway For Increasing The Role Of The Military In Peacebuilding Operations’ and ‘Enhancing Collaboration Among Defence Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions For The Infusion And Integration Of Peace Education’.
DA RBAF HOLDS BILATERAL MEETING WITH UPNM
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Wednesday 2 August 2023 – The DA RBAF held a bilateral meeting with the Malaysia National Defence University (UPNM) on the sidelines of the 25th ARF HDUCIM. Leading the DA RBAF delegation is Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF and leading the UPNM delegation is Yang Berbahagia Lieutenant General Datuk Mardzuki bin Muhammad, the Vice Chancellor of UPNM.
CSC 13/2023 VISIT TO AUSTRALIAN DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE
Friday, 28 Jul 2023 - The Command and Staff Course Delegation spent their final day in Canberra visiting the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The delegation was hosted by the Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Maritime Branch, Mr Hugh Robilliard along with key representatives from DFAT, a renowned institution responsible for shaping and executing Australia’s foreign policy and promoting its national interests on the global stage. This visit provided an invaluable opportunity for the delegation to gain insights into the multifaceted work carried out by DFAT and to foster meaningful exchanges and discussion on AUKUS, South China Sea, maritime security and Australia effort to maintain peace, stability and security in the Indo-Pacific region.
