CSC 13/2023 VISIT TO HIGH COMMISSION OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM IN AUSTRALIA
Friday, 28 Jul 2023 – The Command and Staff Course Delegation visited High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Canberra, Australia. The delegation was welcomed and engaged by His Excellency Garry Ramlee bin Haji Ibrahim. During the visit, the delegation had the privilege of engaging in fruitful discussions with His Excellency Garry Ramlee, who graciously shared his insights about Brunei-Australia relation and partnership in terms of trade, security and education. This visit also included courtesy call between Head of Delegation Lt Col (U) Azmie Iskandar with His Excellency.

Thursday, 27 July 2023 - The Command and Staff Course (CSC) delegation in Australia visited the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) on the fourth day of their Overseas Study Tour. ASPI is Australia’s leading strategy and defence policy think tank.

Wednesday, 26 July 2023 - Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Deputy Commandant of the Defence Academy RBAF, led the 13th Command and Staff College’s overseas study tour delegation to Australia. During the visit, he had the opportunity to call on Air Commodore Ruth Elsley, Acting Commander of the Australian Defence College.
TWO-DAY INTERACTION PROGRAM WITH AUSTRALIAN COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE
25-26 July 2023 – The RBAF Command and Staff Course (CSC) Delegation visited their Australian Command and Staff Course (ACSC) counterparts at Australian War College, located at Australian Defence College, Weston Campus for a two-day interaction programmes. The delegation attended lectures on Mission Command, Cyberwarfare, and Artificial Intelligence with their ACSC counterparts. Following the lectures, the delegation interacted with the ACSC course members for fruitful small-group discussions on cyberwarfare and artificial intelligence, during which they examined case studies, deliberated on the nature and future of cyber conflicts, and debated the need and form of regulation on artificial intelligence. The visit ended with sports activity organised by ACSC and an exchange of mementoes between both course leaders.
CSC 13/2023 VISIT TO AUSTRALIA DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE
Monday, 24 July 2023 - The Command and Staff Course Delegation visited the Australian Department of Defence on the first day of the Overseas Study Tour. The delegation had round-table discussions with officers from the Strategic Policy Division and the International Policy Division, including the Head of Military Strategic Commitments Division, Air Vice Marshal Stephen Chappell, and the Assistant Secretary South-East Asia, Mr. David Lewis.
