SIX RBAF OFFICERS RECEIVES THE OBOE ENDEAVOUR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD

– Six officers from Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received the
OBOE Endeavour Academic Excellence Award in a ceremony held virtually for the first time today.

Lieutenant Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin, Acting Commandant of the Defence
Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) received a farewell call from
Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hauser, Australian Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam
today. Also, in attendance were Academic Advisor, Deputy Chief of Instructor,
Adjutant and Academy Sergeant Major of DA RBAF.
DEFENCE ACADEMY CELEBRATES 11TH ANNIVERSARY
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday 25 November 2021 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA
RBAF) celebrated its 11th anniversary today at the Auditorium Hall, DA RBAF in
accordance with the government’s new COVID-19 transition phase guidelines and
Standard Operating Procedures.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR DA RBAF PERSONNEL
TANAH JAMBU, 25 November 2021 – A promotion ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers was held at the Ceremonial Hall, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces this morning.
COMMANDER’S CHALLENGE OF INTAKE 20 OFFICER CADET SCHOOL, DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 22 November 2021 –
The Commander’s Challenge for the Officer Cadets of Intake 20 ended
this morning at Penanjong Garrison. The event was officially launched on
Sunday evening with the deployment of the first group consisting of 3
sections of Officer Cadets followed by the other two groups according to
their starting time. The Officer Cadets have undergone a series of
tasks and scenarios which were stretched along Penanjong Garrison.
The
Commander’s Challenge is the iconic and prestigious event that takes
place during the end of Special to Service term which accumulates every
assessment based on lessons and training throughout the commissioning
course. The challenge ended with a Novelty Shooting match participated
by the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces and officers of Defence
Academy RBAF.
ONLINE WORKSHOP FOR TETRA ELEMENTS OF LEADERSHIP SUCCESS
TANAH JAMBU, DEFENCE ACADEMY, Monday, 22 November 2021 – Leadership and Management Centre,
Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (LMC DA RBAF) held its first online Tetra Element of Leadership Success today which was presented by Mr. Yap Pik Hwee Raymond from
Tetramap Excellence Consulting Pte Ltd, Republic of Singapore. The workshop was
attended by officers and senior ranks of DA RBAF.
