LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT CENTRE DA RBAF FACILITATES TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITIES FOR EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES YEAR 2020
Kampung Tanah Jambu, 19 August 2020 – The Leadership and Management Centre Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (LMC DA RBAF) for the second time facilitated a one-day teambuilding activity as part of the 29th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO) which is organised by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) in collaboration with Public Service Department (JPA).
LECTURE ON ‘INFLUENCE AND INFORMATION OPERATIONS’ TO 10TH COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE

JAMBU, Monday, 10 August 2020 – Mr. Tony Serna, the Military Information
Support Operations (MISO) Planner from the United States Indo-Pacific Command
(USINDOPACOM), today delivered an online lecture via Zoom
on “Influence and Information Operations” to the 10th Command and
Staff Course, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Mr. Serna provided an in-depth lesson on integrated MISO
concepts, plans and assessments, including the collection of tactical
information about an adversary, as well as the development and employment of a
suitable narrative in pursuit of a competitive advantage over an opponent. The lecture provided several rhetorical tools that can help to maximize
advantageous MISO effects. He also briefed the course on how to determine the
effectiveness of an argument, including the analysis of its intended effects to
best ensure effective communication through various approaches and techniques.

Adha with mass prayers held at mosques and suraus nationwide including at the
Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) Surau Asy-Syuhada.
FAREWELL CEREMONY FOR COMMANDANT DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
Kampung Tanah Jambu, Wednesday, 29 July 2020 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a farewell ceremony for the Commandant of DA RBAF, to convey the deepest appreciation for his contribution and efforts throughout his 20 months services at DA RBAF.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL QURAN FOR ALLAHYARHAM 693 LT COL PG MOHD SHAMSUL REZA BIN PG DP HJ TENGAH
Manggis , Saturday, 25 July 2020 – Defence Academy RBAF held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Tengah’s residence for Allahyarham 693 Lt Col Pengiran Mohammad Shamsul Reza bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Tengah. Present were Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of Defence Academy RBAF as well as Command and Staff College course participants. The ceremony commenced with Asar Prayer, followed by Recital of Al-Quran (30 Juzuq), Do’a Khatam and Tahlil. Finally, the ceremony was concluded with a recital of closing prayer and refreshments.
