LETTER OF APPOINTMENT (WATIKAH) PRESENTATION AND PROMOTION CEREMONY
TANAH JAMBU, 21 July 2020 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) has held a Letter of Appointment (Watikah) Presentation Ceremony to the DA RBAF Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and also, a Promotion Ceremony for personnel from DA RBAF which was took place at the Ceremonial Hall this afternoon.
THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AMBASSADOR TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM DELIVERS KEYNOTE ADDRESS TO CSC10
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 17 July 2020 – The 10th Command and Staff Course (CSC 10) was honoured to receive the Philippine Ambassador to Brunei, His Excellency Christopher B. Montero and the Defence Attaché Colonel Jose Ricky A. Laniog in delivering a lecture pertaining to the Philippine Foreign Policy in a Regional and Bilateral Context. The conduct of the lecture differs from the previous cohort which was through online via zoom application in line with the government effort to contain the COVID 19 pandemic.
DOA KESYUKURAN IN CONJUCTION WITH HIS MAJESTY 74th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Tuesday 14 July 2020 – In conjunction with His Majesty’s 74th birthday celebration, Defence Academy RBAF held a religious event of Doa Kesyukuran for His Majesty. It was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada, The Guest of Honor was 602 Lt Col Mohammad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Hj Puasa, Senior Directing Staff of Command and Staff College, Defence Academy RBAF.
HANDOVER CEREMONY FOR THE HEAD OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT CENTRE YEAR 2020
KG TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 10 July 2020 – The Leadership and Management Centre (LMC) DA RBAF held a handover ceremony between its outgoing Head LMC, Lt Col Mohammad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Hj Puasa and the incoming Head, Maj Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin.
US CHARGE D’AFFAIRS LECTURE TO CSC 10
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 03 June 2020 – Scott Woodard, Deputy Chief of Mission and also currently the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United States of America in Brunei Darussalam held a lecture on US Indo-Pacific Strategy to the 10th Command and Staff Course (CSC 10).
DEFENCE ACADEMY HOLDS PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED OFFICER
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 19 June 2020 - By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, 22085 Officer Cadet Nurbazilah binti Haji Jamaludin, a Professionally Qualified Officer (PQO) from Intake 19 is commissioned and promoted to the rank of Substantive Captain with effect from 19 June 2020.
