COURTESY CALL FROM AKADEMI MILITER TENTERA NASIONAL INDONESIA- ANGKATAN DARAT (AKMIL TNI-AD)
Tanah Jambu, Tuesday, 17 December 2019 – The head of entourage from Akademi Militer Tentera Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Darat paid a courtesy call today to the Acting Commandant of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Lieutenent Colonel Hajah Suriyati binti Haji Junaidi. They were also welcomed by the senior officers of the Defence Academy.
THE SAFTI INTERNATIONAL CADETS’ CONFERENCE (SICC)
SINGAPORE, Tuesday, 17 December 2019 – The SAFTI International Cadets’ Conference (SICC) took place at SAFTI Military Institute (SAFTI MI), Singapore, from 11 to 16 December 2019. The conference, with a theme of “Millennial Leaders — Challenges and opportunities for the future”, was attended by international cadets and instructors from 18 nations; Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, the UK, the US and Vietnam. Representing Officer Cadet School from Brunei Darussalam were 53204 OCdt Ak Muhd Naufal bin Pg Alihashim, 53226 Mid Hj Abdul Muiz bin Hj Matali and 53236 OCdt (U) Muhd Najib Naqiuddin bin Hj Idris.
ASY-SYUHADA TEAM WON CONSOLIDATION ON THE DIKIR SYARAFIL ANAM COMPETITION 1441 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Friday, 13 December 2019 – Team Asy-Syuhada from the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) placed 6th in the RBAF Dikir Syarafil Anam competition which was held in conjunction with the Prophet Muhammad SAW Maulud celebration for 1441 Hijrah, organized by the Religious Department RBAF (JAMA’AT).
DEPLOYED FOR THE SAFTI INTERNATIONAL CADETS’ CONFERENCE (SICC)
BERAKAS, Wednesday, 11 December 2019 – Three (3) Officer Cadets namely, 53204 OCdt Ak Muhd Naufal bin Pg Alihashim, 53226 Mid Hj Abdul Muiz bin Hj Mataliand 53236 OCdt (U) Muhd Najib Naqiuddin bin Hj Idris from the Officer Cadet School (OCS) departed for the Republic of Singapore this morning. The group was led by the Intake Commander 823 Major (U) Awg Md Yusrabin Jafar. This is the first international cadets’ conference organized by Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI) Military Institute to offer an opportunity for the attendees to present and discuss on the most important and interesting topics or today’s issues in the millennial world. This marks the beginning of international interaction between OCS and the SAFTI Military Institute that takes place between 11 December 2019 and 16 December 2019.
BLOOD DONATION IN CONJUNCTION TO 9TH DEFENCE ACADEMY ANNIVERSARY
DEFENCE ACADEMY, Wednesday 11 December 2019 – In cooperation with the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Ministry of Health conducted a blood donation in conjunction with the Defence Academy RBAF 9th anniversary that was held at the Auditorium, Defence Academy RBAF.
COMMANDER’S CHALLENGE OF INTAKE 18
TAMAN WARISAN TASEK MERIMBUN, Wednesday, 4 December 2019 – The Commander’s Challenge is the pinnacle of every Officer Cadets’ ultimate test on effective leadership and physical endurance through a 42.7 kilometer course of tasks and obstacles. The Officer Cadets of Intake 18 flag off first thing in the morning on the 4th December 2019 at Empangan Jubli Emas Ulu Tutong.
